Made from 100% Chardonnay and bottled without any dosage, this wine is bright, zippy, refreshing: it’s hauntingly like drinking an excellent white Burgundy... Just with bubbles. On the nose, the aromas of toasted brioche and hazelnuts are joined by hints of caramel. The palate is all orchard: ripe Golden Delicious apple and lemon citrus balanced with a chalky minerality and a toasty element from time spent on the lees. Despite the softness of the palate, the bubbles are very fine and the acidity excellently leads to a dry crispness on the finish.
