Radiant cherry-red in the glass, with notes of raspberries, cherries, violets, peonies, oolong tea, ground black pepper, and manuka honey on the nose. On the palate bright, tangy red fruit mingles with lingering notes of baking spice and sandalwood; cloves and a slight meatiness in a well tucked bed of mocha oak. Ripe and clean with very good freshness, the finish is fine and moreish, both enticing and sustained.
