This is a pure, classic, impeccably made Napa Valley Cabernet. The textbook aromas of cassis, boysenberry, mulberry and assorted dark fruits are supported by notes of subtle cocoa, cedary herbs, anise and tobacco leaf. Bright, fresh, purple fruit flavors on the medium to full-bodied palate are enveloped in mocha, vanilla and warm spice tones throughout the mid-palate before the slightly softer acidity leaves an impression of juicy baked plums and warm berries nestled in oak near the wonderfully lasting finish. The texture is overall plush and satiny, due to the well developed tannins, allowing 10-15 years of prime drinking ahead.
