A gorgeous blend of 52% Syrah, 31% Mourvèdre and 17% Grenache. Medium ruby-purple in color, the bouquet is a tapestry of crushed cherries and iron are threaded through with nuances of mint chocolate, licorice and game meat. The full-bodied palate offers finely detailed, savory notes of plum pudding, roast fig and cassis, balanced by the positively buzzing acidity from the limestone on which the grapes were grown. The plush, rounded texture is balanced by chalky tannins, leading to a long and gently spiced finish.
