Deep ruby to the eye, this wine has a Fine and elegant bouquet of black cherry, mocha, and a hint of cured ham. The palate is Soft, full-bodied and well-structured: Though the Bold yet smooth tannins which coat the palate slowly peel away to show off fruity notes of cherry-preserve and cassis, this is primarily an earthy and savory wine with pronounced notes of crumbled sage-leaf, chocolate-covered-espresso-bean, tobacco and mint-tea. As the tannins smooth themselves out, they leave a pleasant lasting, savory impression on the finish.
