Deep, dark and broody, the hearty aromas of boysenberry jam, blackberry, blueberry, woodspice, mocha and loam unfold over time. The opaque ruby-purple color leads into an extremely densely packed and textural palate that;s creamy yet tense with chalky tannins: flavors of cocoa, dark cherry, pomegranate, roasted chantarelles, dark earth, graphite and graham cracker flavors ride an energized acidity. The grippy and long finish is carried by notes of red rose petals, barrel spice, and tobacco.
