#45 out of 100 in Wine Spectator's "Top 100 Wines of 2024"! A very ripe vintage with a dense, dark ruby red hue with garnet reflections. Bright and slightly spiced nose of red currant, raspberry and blood orange aromas, supported by an undercurrent of minty cassis, licorice, bay leaf and graphite. Medium bodied, ripe and rich on the palate, with dark currant and blackberry notes framed by singed cedar, olives, paprika and vanilla. The almost satin-like texture is paradoxically furthered by the sturdy and gripping tannins, like the steady support of a trained dancer: a dancer which leads you along a lingering finish of warm earth and a light twang of iron.
Blend: 67 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 10 % Petit Verdot
